Apperently, you are counting. Thought that these comments needed to lighten up just a little.

Don’t support companies involved in known human rights crime, a perfect reason to quit smoking if the health dangers alone have failed to convince you. I’m posting this on FB and urging all readers to do the same.

THIS is how to reach young smokers. They’re not paying any attention to health warnings or ghoulish photos on cigarette packaging, but my bet is they’d be outraged at willful corporate evil. Maybe outraged enough to quit? Let’s put photos of brutalized children in the tobacco fields instead of cancerous lungs.
Thanks, Carolyn – another thought-provoking topic here.

This is the best reason yet to QUIT SMOKING. The response from Philip Morris is cowardly and disgusting. You smokers should remember this reality every time you put down your hard-earned cash for another pack of smokes – you do so willingly to help Big Tobacco maximize profits on the backs of those child slaves. I quit smoking 345 days ago but who’s counting? This article makes me feel even better about quitting than I did yesterday. Thanks for waking us up! Love your website.

It strikes me that information like this is what might finally make young people stop smoking. If they are educated about how they’re just being duped into helping Big Tobacco get bigger and richer, they might just, as we used to say in the 60s, decide they do have the power to “stick it to the man”. I bet that Phillip Morris is not the only cigarette maker who’s guilty here.

Lou from Los Angeles
