I am suffering ever since receiving a microtox injection. Severe muscle pain throughout my body…Have to still work but feel like crying, in so much pain!!!!

I’m thrilled about this decision in favor of Sharla Helton. She is a wonderful, caring physician, and would never engage in attempting to sell something to her patients if she were aware of such severe side effects. I pray her case is upheld. She deserves every cent of the award she received. I miss you, Sharla. Hope to see you return to your practice someday.

The side effects from Botox can be severe. The problem is that ‘health professionals’ injecting this toxin are not passing on the warnings. People need to be given all of the information required to make an informed decision – we can’t do that if the people injecting us are not giving full disclosure – it is then the injectors that should be sued and not Allergan. Thank you for the information.
I could say that i would like to undergo a botox treatment because i think it is a most effective way for my wrinkles. But Botox can have side effects. We need more research on it.

It’s hard to feel any sympathy for a medical doctor who surely knows the risks of injecting a neurotoxin directly into one’s face! You didn’t mention if her cosmetic surgeon did the Botox injections, or because she is an MD, did she go the ‘inject-it-yourself’ route at home?

Maybe she should be suing herself for malpractice.
