I’m sure my doctor gets most if not all of his information about which medications to prescribe to his patients from the drug sales reps who call on him.

I would certainly hope so. He who pays the piper plays the tune. Industry funding of our doctors’ education is just plain inappropriate no matter how they try to fluff it off.
