There is simply no way that academics like Sherwin are not perfectly aware of who is funding/writing the article they are signing their names to. Did she not notice that she didn’t actually do the writing herself? This paper suddenly arrives on her desk ready for submission to a medical journal all by magic one day? Looks good on her CV, one more published paper, thank you very much Big Pharma!

She and all other academics who participate in these frauds should face legal charges and be immediately fired from their Ivory Tower positions. Just don’t insult us by now insisting that you had no idea that Big Pharma paid your ghostwriter to do the work you claim to do.
